Wedding: Rehearsal Dinner

So, I got married (last year) and as the year anniversary approaches, I thought I’d roll out a few posts to share the weekend’s events.

First up, a few scenes from our rehearsal dinner, which was held at Muscongus Bay Lobster Pound in Round Pond, Maine.  It was important for us to incorporate as many local foods and vendors as possible:  for dinner we served fresh Maine lobster supplied by the terrific Dan Reny (yes, of those Reny’s), who owns the lobster pound.  The rest of the meal was catered by Laura Cabot featuring local and seasonal ingredients.  Dinner also featured local beer from Sheepscot Valley Brewery Company and Cold River drinks.  Delicious berry pies from historic Moody’s Dinner and ice cream from the local creamery, Round Top, rounded out the evening.

Blessed with amazing weather and so many family and friends who’d come into to town to help us celebrate, we were off to a perfect start:
